Vehicle Crash with Injury at Highway 175 / Hicks Rd
On July 2, 2022, at approximately 12:50 PM, The Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a report of an accident involving a school bus and transit van at the intersection of Highway 175 and Hicks Road. Both vehicles were traveling northbound on Hicks Road and were working for an agricultural company. The driver of the transit van, Suzanne Bennett struck the rear of the school bus at the intersection. Bennett sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mercy One Waterloo. The driver of the school bus and passengers were not injured. The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Hudson Police Department and Reinbeck Fire Department.
