On 08/11/2023, the Black Hawk County Sheriff's Office investigated a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle on Interstate 380 north of Raymond Road. The driver, Randy Sneed, age 53, of Tecumseh, Michigan, was southbound on I380 and left the roadway, going through the median, before striking the cable divider preventing him from entering oncoming traffic in the northbound lanes of I380. Sneed was transported to MercyOne-Waterloo, where he was pronounced dead.
