2009 Deputy of the Year
The 2009 Deputy of the Year is Deputy Joseph Schmidt. He has been a Deputy Sheriff since 2002 and was cited for his involvement in the development of the Inmate Worker Program, the Sheriff's Office Website, and as a sniper for the SWAT team.
